The main feature of these clamps is the forged brass conductor housed in a sturdy nickel-plated, steel handle. The current is carried to the upper jaw through a braided copper strap. This assures maximum welding current, even under the most adverse conditions and prevents annealing of the spring and heating out of the handles.
